If you have mixtures with a health or physical effect classification on the market in the European Union, and they have not been notified with the individual Member State’s poison centre, then you may be out of compliance – leaving you at risk of enforcement action.

NCEC invites you to register for a complimentary webinar providing you with an overview of the consequences of non-compliance and advice on the strategic steps you should take to ensure compliance now and allow a smooth transition into compliance for 2020 onwards.

Enforcement on the rise
European poison centre legislation is a complex regulatory area with each Member State having their own implementation of article 45 of CLP – their poison centre legislation.

Annex VIII to CLP was released in March this year with the intention of harmonising these variations. However, the obligation to notify mixtures in Member States has existed for many years and the recent publicity around the annex has not only increased awareness, but also enforcement.

In this webinar, our experts will highlight…

Current Member State enforcement areas and the consequences of non-compliance.
Advise on the strategic steps you and your company should take to ensure compliance now and allow a smooth transition into compliance for 2020 onwards.
Update on the Member State implementation of Annex VIII

This will be followed by a live question and answer session for which you are also welcome to submit questions in advance.

Driven by years of experience

NCEC is notifying mixtures, biocides and detergents on behalf of some of the world’s largest chemical companies and have been tracking the recent crackdown in enforcement of poison centre notifications across Europe.

Our poison centre notification package is driven by years of experience; researching each Member State’s implementation of poison centre legislation, and shaping poison centre policy through work with the European Commission. Caroline Raine, our principal consultant currently sits on the ECHA working groups for poison centre guidance and IT tools.
