Frontline Mental Health Conference

The Frontline Mental Health Conference is designed to harness and improve the mental health of workers on the front line of disasters and emergencies.

First responders are at high risk of developing mental health conditions linked to stress and traumatic events.

On behalf of the Program Committee, you are invited with the opportunity to present at the inaugural Frontline Mental Health Conference, held 20 – 22 October 2019 in Townsville.

By becoming a presenter, you have the chance to place yourself before an audience of like-minded individuals and share your thoughts, ideas and research on issues, challenges, opportunities and successes for strengthening and maintaining the mental health of those on the front line.

Discussion topics include:

  • Reducing the stigma
  • Identifying stress, trauma, anger, depression, anxiety, suicide
  • Treatment and support options
  • Improving mental health of first responders
  • Treating PTSD
  • Surviving the job
  • Life after the job
  • Mentally healthy workplaces and workforces
  • Developing better practices in the workplace
  • And more…..

Please see attached for full information.

Presenter submissions close Friday 28 June. For full details visit the PRESENT page or get in contact for further information.
