The Fire Australia Conference and Tradeshow 2019 has added new off-site tours to the conference program, giving delegates exclusive access to class-leading fire protection installations and testing facilities around Melbourne.
Run by peak industry body Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia), Fire Australia 2019 is the biggest event dedicated to the fire protection industry in the Southern Hemisphere.
Two off-site tours have currently been confirmed for the event’s program, with more to come. Tickets for off-site visits are strictly limited, so delegates will need to book early.
Offsite tour: Warringtonfire Melbourne test laboratory
A visit Warringtonfire’s world-class Melbourne test laboratory in Dandenong, including a live burn to demonstrate full-scale façade testing under Australian Standard AS 5113, as well as a presentation and tour around the facility.
Offsite tour: MCEC fire protection systems
An exclusive tour of the state-of-the-art fire protection systems at the new Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre expansion which opened in 2018, and where Fire Australia 2019 is being held.
