The Emergency Services Show, the leading UK annual event for all emergency services personnel, brings the sector together with the single aim of improving public safety. The Show reflects the importance the services are placing on finding new ways of working together for the mutual benefit of the individual organisations involved and for the benefit of the public they all serve.
The Emergency Services Show is a marketplace for an emergency services industry looking to drive efficiencies through collaboration.
The first Show was held in 2006 at The Royal Horticultural Halls in London with just 90 exhibitors and 1,000 visitors. The Show grew and moved to Stoneleigh Park where it was held from 2007 to 2012. The requirement for more space took the event to the NEC in Birmingham from 2013, moving this year to Hall 5, the NEC’s most prestigious event space. With 450 exhibitors and a 10% increase on visitors to the 2016 event, 2017 will be the biggest ever Show from organisers Broden Media.
In 2016 The Emergency Services Show featured over 450 exhibiting companies, offering procurement officers the ideal opportunity to see, handle and compare the latest equipment, vehicles and technology. It attracted a record visitor attendance of 6151, making 2016 the largest and most successful event ever.
The impressive indoor and outdoor exhibition is a one-stop shop for sourcing all the latest services and equipment required for emergency response and keeping the public safe from threats such as floods, road traffic accidents and terrorist attacks.
Exhibiting companies include leading names in search and rescue, extrication, communications, IT, protective clothing and uniforms, vehicles and fleet, vehicle equipment, outsourcing, training, community safety, and water rescue.
The event also presents the ideal opportunity for procurement officers to meet, network and collaborate with colleagues within the emergency services, government departments and voluntary sector partners and NGOs. There are also a series of free seminars and training sessions on offer.
Entry to the event, and car parking, at the NEC Birmingham, are both FREE OF CHARGE.
Free visitor registration and free parking for all.
